Let Richie take you on a trip back 1,400 years to a time of Paganism in Ireland, witches and wizards. Find out how St. Patrick became one of the most celebrated Saints in history, and became the framed Patron Saint of Ireland! You and your students will travel into the world of cinema where they will learn more about the Irish History, Culture and Comedy. Where did the Irish fit into the legend of William Wallace of Braveheart, help you and your students get a better grasp of the Northern Ireland troubles through „In The Name Of The Father” and see the spotlights of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and more! This workshop, facilitated by Richie Mullaney, is sure to give your students a new understanding of the Irish cinema in the past and the present and show them their mind truly is a Palace!

Richard Mullaney ma 21 lat i jest irlandczykiem, urodzonym w Dublinie, gdzie studiował Youth Work. Pragnie poświęcić się pracy z młodymi ludźmi z trudnych środowisk. Swoją drogę kariery rozpoczął w wieku 13 lat, przez kilka lat prowadząc drużynę harcerską. Latem pracuje jako animator zajęć w szkołach letnich, takich jak Stafford House w Glasgow i Edynburgu, LINES Languages w Reading. Pomimo młodego wieku ma na swoim koncie mnóstwo osiągnięć, takich jak: Youth & Community Work, Rescue Emergency Care First Aid Training: Level 3, 3rd Place in International Small Ships Race, oraz różnego rodzaju wolontariaty. Dla NaukiBezGranic prowadzi m.in. warsztaty Ireland Today, Teenage English, St.Patrick’s Day, Kid’s Day Fun & Games oraz warsztaty tańca Ceilidh.
