Holy Grail Journey of a Lifetime
Drama workshop based on a series of exciting improvisation exercises. Students become travellers looking for the Holy Grail, which they have to bring back to the druids. Rather than talk about the British culture we immerse in it and experience it! First, the travellers meet the Druids in a forest and take part in rituals. Then they set off to find the Holy Grail. They look for King Arthur’s Castle. The journey takes them across a river, through a forest, with many obstacles: trees, bushes, birds, wolves… Finally, they meet King Arthur but there are more challenges to face before they can enter the labyrinth and get to the chamber with the Holy Grail….
Examples of improvisation games include: Throwing invisible toys, Statues, Ball fixation, Tag with a twist, Human umbrella, Shadows of mine, Sculptors
Walk like me.

Event type: drama workshop
Facilitator: Cezary Tcharro Kacprzak
Minimum age: 9+ Level: Elementary / Pre-intermediate / Intermediate + Time: 60 min.

Fun interactive drama workshop in which students will learn about different emotions and moods. Not only will they expand their vocabulary and knowledge about emotions but also experience how they are and can be expressed by their body language in different situations. What?s more, they will learn how to recognise them in others thanks to guessing games. They will face a number of improv exercises which will combine: a number of activities people perform, selected aspects of British culture and emotions that will be as random and as fickle as a crazy tornado. We will experience an overexcited royal family tennis match, surprised Beatles cover show, sad cooking with Jamie Oliver and much more!
